Hot Chocolate - Maple Syrup 

No sugar and no sweetened chocolate. Use for hot chocolate or chocolate sauce.

Bring to a boil:
1 1/2 c water (9.5 kangan)

Whisk in:
4 oz cocoa powder
8 oz maple syrup
4 oz unsalted butter
1/2 t salt

Bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk often.

It will thicken as it cooks.

Remove from heat and add:
vanilla

Use for hot chocolate or chocolate sauce.
