Italian Soda Syrups 

Because I just can't buy the bottled ones!

For all these fruit options cover and bring to a simmer for about 30 minutes until the fruits release their juices and are soft with no flavor left in them! Mash them a bit while simmering. Mash again then strain the liquid. Add just a bit of fresh lemon to taste as needed. Keep refrigerated.

~Rhubarb
4 stalks rhubarb thinly chopped
3 c water
3 c sugar

~Blackberry or blueberry
4 c blackberries
3 c water
3 c sugar

~Strawberry
4 c strawberries thinly sliced
3 c water
3 c sugar

~Peach or Plum or Nectarine or a mix
4 c peaches thinly sliced
3 c water
3 c sugar

~Hibiscus syrup

~Make simple syrup then add vanilla extract and maybe vanilla bean powder. This can probably mix with something like peach syrup.
