Doughnuts - chocolate baked 

Baked in my doughnut pans these are packed with flavor.

Approximately 24 doughnuts
~In large bowl stir together:
8 oz white flour
3 oz baking cocoa

Warm and stir in:
8 oz milk

Stir in:
10 oz starter

Let sit and stir until it is smooth and well combined.

Beat until smooth and creamy:
2 oz melted unsalted butter
2 eggs

Beat in until creamy:
1 c white sugar

Rub fat onto doughnut pans, coating them very well. Scoop, with a portion scoop, the batter into the middle of the doughnut forms. Use a scraper to clean the "hole". Only fill the cups half full. They rise a lot.

Preheat oven to 450* but turn down to bake doughnuts on two racks at convection bake 325* 10-12 minutes.

Cool in pans then remove while yet a little bit warm.
