French Toast Casserole - Chocolate 

Chocolate bread And chocolate custard!

~Make a recipe of chocolate sauce:
Bring to a boil:
1 1/2 c water (9.5 kangan)
Whisk in:
4 oz cocoa powder
8 oz maple syrup
4 oz unsalted butter
1/2 t salt
Bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk often.
It will thicken as it cooks.
Remove from heat and add:
vanilla

~Dice chocolate bread or mix of sourdough and chocolate bread into 9x13 pan.

In 2 qt measure pitcher stir together:
1 c milk
all the chocolate sauce
6 eggs

Pour over bread and refrigerate overnight.

In the morning remove and warm on counter.

Cover with a baking sheet and bake at convection 325* 40-50 minutes until set in middle. Rest 10 minutes. Serve.
