Popcorn - honey buttered

Just quickly made for a not too decadent treat.

~For two batches
In small pan melt:
1/4 c (2 oz) unsalted butter
about 2 oz maple syrup
1/4 t salt
Bring to a gentle simmer and stir together.

In whirly pop melt and gently warm up:
about 3 T coconut oil

Add:
1/4 c popcorn

Pop until there is no more popping.

Open lid and drizzle in HALF the butter-maple while you stir vigorously. (Easier done with a second person.) Close lid and shake to further distribute the butter.

Pour out into fairly large bowl and separate with a table knife as it cools. Resist the impulse to taste it, it will get more crispy as it cools.

Pop the second batch, stir in the rest of the butter-maple and add to the first batch in the large bowl. Stir to distribute as it all cools.

Enjoy, finally!

*The small batch of 1/4 c in the whirly pop makes mixing in the butter much better.
