Nuts - notes 

for now just crispy maple nuts, but hopefully other ideas as well later.

Crispy maple nuts:
In cast iron melt:
(x1) butter
(x2) twice as much maple syrup

When melted and just a bit bubbly add:
nuts - pecans, walnuts
Stir to coat then leave in single layer to roast one side nicely.

Stir and be sure they don't burn until they are roasted and a little sticky.

Take out and cool. They crisp up as they cool.
