Elderberry Syrup 

Actually it tastes like a cough syrup. But can indeed be used as such!

~Use 2 oz in each quart of kombucha.
~Elderberry Syrup
4 oz dried elderberries
-original recipe includes fresh ginger
(1 oz fresh chopped ginger)
20 oz cold filtered water
bring to a simmer
simmer for 45 min

then let steep 2 hours or more
strain, press to get all liquid out, and add:
8 oz honey

keep in refrigerator

Add to kombucha along with some ginger syrup, if you didn't use ginger in this syrup.
