Soup - Creamy Potato Chicken 

Try a warm bowl of this thick rich comforting soup.

about 4 medium cubed potatoes
and 1 qt (4c) chicken or turkey broth
and 3 bay leaves

When potatoes are tender and flavors are mature stir in
2 cans corn

Season with about 1/2 t nutmeg and salt and pepper or white pepper to taste
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into bite sized pieces

In 8 qt pot saute -
1-2 large chopped onions
up to 1 lb diced carrots in
1 stick unsalted butter and 1 t salt
When carmalized to a light golden color add

1/2 c white flour
and 1 t salt
1/2 t celery seed
1/2 t pepper or white pepper
1/2 t ground cloves
Saute until smells nutty and is golden then stir in

4 c milk (one cup at a time) until thick and bubbly
