Frosting - Honey Butter 

Just real honey, butter and vanilla! And no powdered sugar. Add chocolate and you have a great frosting with minimal ingredients.

~Chocolate
Add cocoa powder and taste
Add melted and cooled chocolate chips to taste.
Add more vanilla or salt to taste.
~Basic Recipe
1 stick unsalted cold butter (you can include about 1/4 quantity salted butter, but not more than that or your frosting is just too salty. Then omit extra salt or salt only carefully to taste.)
6 oz (1/2 c) raw real honey (the kind that is thicker than a honey bear)
bit of salt
bit of vanilla

In mixer with whips (small if just making the basic recipe), slice the butter into small pieces, so you don't damage your whip assembly. Add honey and salt. Turn the mixer by hand a few times to make sure you are not putting too much strain on the whips.

Whip away, rest to allow the honey to dissolve, whip again. Add vanilla and any more salt to taste. Whip until light.
