Cake - Lemon Poppyseed You can also use this recipe to make an orange cake! On low speed mix in the dry ingredients then milk, juice, vanilla and zest. Don't over or under mix!
Bake at BAKE 350* (not convection). 45-60 minutes. *Use fresh orange juice and orange zest for an orange cake! *Lemon glaze: equal weight fresh lemon juice and white sugar. Boil and stir then boil gently until thickened a bit. 9x13 not very tall or tall 9x9 cake pan size.
Measure: 9 oz milk bring it to room temp Juice lemons to get: 3 oz 1 T lemon zest Measure: 13 oz all purpose flour 1 T + 1 t baking powder 1 1/2 t salt 1/3 c poppy seeds In bosch with whips beat: 7 oz coconut oil in liquid form 8 oz sugar for a minute. Add: 3 eggs (also at room temp) Beat at high sppeed for 1-3 minutes until mixture is very light! 1 T vanilla
