Corndog Casserole 

Make cornbread your main dish and skip the low quality hotdogs for good healthy weiners and fresh cornmeal!

~Mix the cornbread
Melt:
1/2 stick unsalted butter

Beat with:
1 egg until well mixed

Stir in:
6 oz (3/4 c) milk and
4 oz (1/2 c) yogurt until smooth and thick

Measure and mix together:
5 oz (1 c) fine ground cornmeal
3 oz (3/4 c) whole wheat pastry flour
2 oz (1/4 c) sugar
1/2 t baking powder
1/4 t soda
1/2 t salt

Mix well mixed dry ingredients into wet ingredients gently but thoroughly.

Spread into 9x13 pan.

~Prepare the weiners
Cut 1 lb good quality weiners into 3/4 inch pieces and sprinkle on top of cornbread batter. Press into batter a bit.

~Bake about 30 minutes at convection roast 350*.
